Odin and Loki.
Odin, the mighty all father made all the nine worlds from the body of Ymir but still he sought more power. That is why he gave his eye to Urdarbrunnr, the well of fate, and that is why he hung from the tree. He believed the knowledge would bring him power. But when he learned of Ragnarok he knew he had no power to stop the fate of the gods.
Weary of the weight of the knowledge he gave so much to attain, Odin spent some time wandering the nine worlds. It was on such a journey that he found himself surrounded, deep in Jotunheim. The Jotun had heard of his vision of Ragnarok and were not happy to see one of the gods they knew would be their downfall. At least a hundred Jotun had ambushed the great god, many of them or an unusual size and power.
Odin was backed against a wall, surrounded on three sides by jagged cliffs. He raised his spear and eyed the Jotun army, wondering how many he would be able to take down with him. He wondered if he would die there, in that cold harsh
